Cooper Jacoby
March 22 – May 17, 2014
Cooper Jacoby draws from reductive corporate architecture and government signage to address how financial and human capital circulates. His high-finish door handles, inlaid with outmoded or misprinted coins, or his plaster casts of historic markers redacted except for the prepositions, subtly resist their object’s intended purpose, instead focusing on design’s intimate relationship with authority.
White Flag Library is an auxiliary exhibition program of White Flag Projects.
