White Flag Projects is pleased to inaugurate its seventh season of exhibitions with B. Wurtz, a one-person exhibition surveying the artists work from 1970 to the present.

B. Wurtz's understated sculptures formalize banal articles of daily life, rendering unlikely expressive value from an austere vocabulary of found materials. Wurtz eschews the transformative artistic gesture, achieving a heightened awareness of the everyday by emphasizing each elements essential nature, investing his assemblies with equal measures of profundity and wit.
